Tools for Ethical Practice – Karen Shepherd

In Collaboration with HALT and the Strengthening Families Network, the Community Capacity Programme is proud to offer specialist Ethical Practice training at no cost to you. Presenter Karen Shepherd will take participants through an experiential workshop exploring sound social work practice, looking after yourself, using supervision and reflective practice to support professional boundaries with clients in a small population and managing and responding to conflicts of interest. Register now as spaces are limited!

What is the Community Capacity Building Programme?

The Community Capacity Building Programme is a series of workshops subsidised by Horowhenua District Council, offering non profit organisations the opportunity to increase their skill base through training on a diverse range of topics. Find out more on our Community Capacity Building Programme page.

Attendance is by RSVP only, to Garreth Stevens, or phone 06 366 0999. Register for all of the workshops at once, or pick and choose which ones are most relevant to you.
