Cuban Quartet Calle Cuba Returns

CubanFusion is thrilled to announce that its 7th Annual Salsa @ Sunset Summer Series has just been confirmed thanks to the support of the Wellington Waterfront Company and that Calle Cuba​ - featuring Roberto Rodriquez, Rafael Ferrer Noel, Bernard Wells and Graham Flaws - will also grace our stage again this year with live 100% authentic Cuban music after the free fun follow-me Cuban Salsa class!.. and that Mac's Brewbar | Taranaki St Wharf​ has offered to be our wet-weather venue should we need one so please show your appreciation for this amazing offer whether it rains or shines!

This year's series will run every Thursday for 5 weeks starting 5 Feb and ending 5 Mar, which is handy as we are off to Rotorua for the New Zealand Cuban Festival​ that night and will be at WOMAD the following Thursday.

Salsa @ Sunset will be just one of many events and attractions at the new Thursday Night Market, which features street food stalls, designer pop up shops, live entertainment and outdoor bars.

This is how the Salsa @ Sunset part of the event will run:

- 5.30pm Set-Up/Sound-Check/Meet-Up

- 6.00pm Free fun follow me class including the Cuban Conga routine we are preparing for LatinBeat Wellington & CubanFusion Events @ CubaDupa (a.k.a. The all new Cuba Street Festival)​ (see link below)

- 6.30pm Calle Cuba live
- 7.30pm DJ Timba Cubana (a.k.a. Rafael​)
- 8.00pm Sunset and home-time

Lots of fun (and Salsa) in the setting sun on the waterfront to look forward to.
