This year's 4th annual Cultural Exchange Festival celebrates the art and culture of the Asian migrant community of Auckland. Take part and enjoy a variety of performances, workshops, and activities which showcase the art, music, and culture from our local communities.

All activities are “drop in” where you're invited to experience different arts and crafts activities across multiple venues onsite here at Auckland museum.

The Sunday programme features a Tai Chi Demonstration in the morning. The Taoist Tai Chi Society is an international not-for profit organisation, whose aims include making the health benefits of Taoist Tai Chi Arts of Health available to all, promoting cultural exchange, and helping others. This gentle yet powerful health art is suitable for all ages and abilities.

On Sunday, the Confucius Institute will showcase the traditions of Chinese calligraphic art. Parents and children can participate in the activity to learn and write calligraphy with the aid of teachers from the Confucius Institute.
