Marking 100 years since the Gallipoli Campaign, Cunard's Queen Elizabeth will make a commemorative voyage, sailing past Gallipoli on the eve of Anzac Day.
New Zealanders and Australians are invited to personally commemorate the Anzac legend with a poppy placed on the Queen Elizabeth Poppy Wall in Auckland on February the 27th, before the ship begins her voyage. Supported by the RSA, a gold coin donation goes to supporting returned service men and women to help keep the tradition of Anzac alive. The proceeds of every poppy sold in New Zealand will be donated to the RSA.
Visitors are also invited to leave personalised messages in a commemorative book remembering the sacrifice of those who lost their lives in defence of our freedom.
The poppies will be taken by Queen Elizabeth to Turkey, with the thoughts and prayers of New Zealanders who've donated a poppy.
The commemorative book will be placed in Queen Elizabeth's library for future guests to remember and never forget the sacrifice of the Anzacs.
Please come down to Queens Wharf on February 27, and send a poppy to Gallipoli, on your behalf.
