Sinister shadows, mysterious sounds and thrilling tales – NO Productions Theatre Collective is ready to present another unique show!

Set in the early 20th century, this theatrical adventure is inspired by two classic Edwardian tales of the supernatural: Casting the Runes (by M.R. James) and The Monkey’s Paw (by W.W. Jacobs). Combined in an original double feature, Danse Macabre invites its audience on an interactive pre-show twilight journey through the grounds of Ferrymead Heritage park - what shadows might be lurking there?..

Danse Macabre is brought to life by a diverse and talented cast and crew including Ukrainian-born producer, writer, director and actress Nataliya Oryshchuk; local musician, actor and director Daniel Webster; young soundscape creator Colter Carson; the popular and experienced Christchurch actors Michael Adams and David Allen; and the talented young actors Gwilym Wogan and Yvette Bensemann.

Each night the audience number will be strictly limited to 30, and the tickets will be offered for pre-sale only. The ticket price includes light refreshments served as the part of the show during the interval. This is an excellent way to farewell the Halloween season and welcome the Christmas season of the traditional ghost stories.

Due to the nature of the show, PG 13 is recommended.

The performance begins at 8.30pm (dusk). Duration (including a twilight walk) is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes.

Tickets: $35 waged/$30 unwaged. To book or make enquiries, email book.a.ghost@gmail.com
