About Lyn

My art is a passion I've had since childhood. With my parent’s encouragement, I was always creating with some form of media.

My own art is whimsical and I love to get really creative and include lots of doodled designs within my drawings. The main media I use is acrylic inks which I really enjoy for their vibrant colours and Brusho paints which make stunning backgrounds.

Handbuilding with Clay is another art form that I am passionate about with each piece being handcrafted individually. I prefer to oxide my pieces rather than use shiny glazes (most of the time) as I prefer the rustic/earthy look and I feel it helps to bring out the character of my pieces.

I’m a musician/pianist and I teach piano/keyboard to my students here in Feilding. Along with this I also play the piano at many Resthomes in the local region.

My other interests include natural healing.
