Dearest Sketchers,

At our upcoming night of life drawing, we’ll offer vintage wisdom on housekeeping duties from the days when women really knew their place.

Burlesque babe, Nilah Minx, joins us to portray the virtuous housewife, keeping up appearances. She’s a cupcake queen with cherries and cream. Her ingredients may seem sweet but her moves are dangerously spicy. Is she some kind of Serial Mom, protecting her family by resorting to extreme measures? Or is she a malfunctioning Stepford wife? Seems like she might be ready to slice off those apron strings and show you a different side of the perfect homemaker.

And you, dearest art monkeys, your only chores will be to don a freshly ironed apron, indulge with a few beverages, and then break any or all of these ridiculous rules about being a perfect housewife. You’ll then be ready to whisk up a batch of fresh drawings of our lovely model.

Drinking, Drawing and Deranged Domesticity!

We’ll host our life drawing soirée in the penthouse suite at Smash Palace. Tickets are limited so head to a Cosmic Store. If you can’t leave the kitchen, buy online at cosmicticketing
(Tickets available Tuesday 28 August)

Our sponsors help us cook up these kooky ideas. Huge thanks to Absolution Pierce and Tattoo, Madam Butterfly's Vintage Style Boutique, Gordon Harris Art Supplies and C1 Espresso.
