Join the Mayor of Wellington and Mana Whenua o te Whanganui-o-tara in welcoming Team England to Wellington as part of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

The English Cricket team will walk along the waterfront from Queens Wharf, past Frank Kitts Park to the Wharewaka, accompanied by a spectacular flotilla of boats on the harbour, including a ceremonial waka (canoe) and dragonboats.
Outside the Wharewaka they will be met by a Wero (challenge) and then they will welcomed inside for an official Powhiri (traditional Maori welcome), which public can view on screen from outside.

Following the formalities, the England Team will be available for autographs outside the south end of the Wharewaka.
