Environmental Awareness is a two day workshop that provides the students with an international City & Guilds qualification. This course is aimed at individuals wanting to learn more about the environmental topics, and businesses that wish to provide environmental awareness across their organisation and develop sustainability skills. There will be an off-site visit and a variety of educators to add various industry experience.

Topics include;
1. Climate change
2. Ecological footprint
3. Carbon management
4. Sustainable development
5. Three strands of sustainability
6. Commonly used resources
7. Links between resource efficiency and climate change
8. Business reasons of resource efficiency
9. Ways to reduce consumption of commonly used resources
10. Ways to reuse commonly used resources
11. Identify recyclable resources

The learner will:
1. Know common terms used in relation to environmental issues
2. Understand the impacts of environmental change
3. Know the importance of resource efficiency
4. Know practical ways to reduce environmental impacts through reducing, reusing and recycling.
