Kiwiesque is luxury vineyard lodge with a laid back style and vibe, perfect for a long lazy lunch. It just so happens that owners Bayden and Justine know a thing or two about growing food and making wine and invite you to their place to share the very best of the bounty in Esk Valley.

Today is all about friends and fun so joining them is a host of pals to make your day a memorable one. Star of the kitchen is renowned Hawke’s Bay Chef Terry Lowe. Previously of Black Barn Bistro fame, Terry has come out of hiding to design and prepare your mind blowing menu. Local brewer, Chris Barber from Zeelandt will get your day underway with a beer tasting on the lawn. Moving up to the long table on the sun drenched deck, your first course will be seafood matched to the very first vintage of the Kiwiesque Albarino 2014. Save room for the Wagyu plate matched to Esk Valley Estate wine presented by winemaker Gordon Russell. Round off your mains with a home grown lamb combination served with the 2007 “Farting Kiwi”, a drop dear to Bayden’s heart. If you dare for dessert, help yourself to sweet canapés washed down with a glass of sticky wine.
