In the words of 15th Century theologian Thomas Cranmer “God’s love takes us on journeys we do not wish to go, makes us travel by roads we do not wish to use, to take us to places we never wish to leave”.

Have you ever felt that God has let you down? That He didn’t do what he said he would? Now it’s too late for your dreams to come true and you feel like you have little or no value?

In 2006 Frank Rautenbach landed the lead role in the biographical drama based on the book ‘Faith Like Potatoes’ written by Angus Buchan. Little did Frank know that the role would play such a pivotal part in his life.

After a successful career in South Africa, Frank and his wife Leigh decided to move to the United States, to chase bigger opportunities. They set out on this new journey with a sense of great expectation but unfortunately the move brought with it much hardship and pain. His acting career
failed, which lead to a loss of income and then were forced to sell their house. They also lost a number of relatives and several pregnancies ended in heart break and tears.

During this period, a friend phoned Frank and asked him to sponsor a child in Africa. Despite the circumstances around them they decided to step out in faith and sponsor the little boy who was doing life tougher than them.

Join Frank as he shares about the lessons he learnt through his own personal struggles. His story helps people discover their true purpose and how to cultivate an unwavering belief in the power of faith, which like potatoes, grows unseen.
