From August to October, the School of Architecture and Planning at NICAI, University of Auckland proudly presents Fast Forward 2015 - China Now: Architecture and Urbanism; an internationally-focused lecture series offering insights into the contemporary architecture and urbanism of one of New Zealand's most important cultural and economic partners in the Asia-Pacific.

Across six evenings, the series brings together prestigious national and international speakers to discuss how the unprecedented Chinese social and economic development of the last few decades has triggered a profound transformation of our conceptions, interpretations and production of both social and physical spatialities. It highlights emerging critical design and research approaches that propose a fundamental reframing of the logics governing the contemporary architecture and urbanism of new megacities.
