Where: ZEALANDIA Eco-Sanctuary, Waiapu Road, Karori, Wellington

Restrictions: All Ages

Listed by: wellington22

An informal, social tour of Zealandia led by current US Graduate Student grantee, Jason Preble. This event is open to current Fulbright grantees, alumni, partners, and families.

Jason hails from Kaneohe, Hawai‘i and is based at Victoria University of Wellington for his research into the native bird populations around the Zealandia eco-sanctuary. Please join us for this exciting opportunity to learn about the beautiful birds of Zealandia while getting to know other grantees and alumni in the area!

We'll be meeting at 10:30am at the front doors of Zealandia. We'll begin with a brief stop at the gecko display to chat with Zealandia staff about geckos, and then we'll continue on for Jason's discussion. We hope you'll join us afterwards for a tasty lunch in the on-site Rata Cafe.

We ask you to please "purchase" an RSVP ticket below so we can have an idea of how many will be in attendance. Regular Zealandia admission prices will apply to the event and are $17.50 (adult), $9 (child), and $44 (family of 2 adults + up to 3 children). Admission can be paid directly to Zealandia upon arrival.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email
