Discussing: Transformation in Politics and in Trade

Doors open 5:30pm - Talks begin 6:00pm

More information of the speakers for Forethought Talk 4:
Former Green MP Sue Bradford joins us from Auckland where she is currently a coordinator for Auckland Action Against Poverty. Sue will draw on her wealth of experience in parliament and as a political activist to engage us in a discussion about transformation in politics. If you're looking for something meaty to pick up and read, how about Sue's 2014 PhD thesis: "A major left wing think tank in Aotearoa - an impossible dream or a call to action?"

Alongside Sue, we will be hearing from Richard Corney from Flight Coffee. Richard will speak about the transformational practices Flight is involved in in the coffee trade, and fill us in on their partnerships with speciality coffee farms in Colombia. What could be better than sipping their delicious coffee at the Hangar? Hearing about their efforts towards ethical trade at Forethought!
