Rug up and have some free family fun! Winterlights is the perfect excuse to get out of the routine and explore this beautiful country town, which is at only just over an hours drive from 4 ski fields!
On Saturday 11th , Geraldine transforms in to a winter wonderland with a large evening outdoor market in the park, featuring live entertainment, a snow hill, braziers, huge choice of hot food, mulled wine, a fire show and more!

Or come to town on Friday night to join the Light The Night Trail, where hundreds of children with their lanterns explore the beautiful 3D light displays created in all main street shop windows, followed by cartoons at the cinema.

Sunday features Poems by candlelight at the Academy. The festival also includes live music at the pub, solar viewing on the village green and a Theatre Sports showcase.

- Cartoons & Shorts @ Geraldine Cinema, Talbot St, 6.30pm - Gold Coin
- Theatre Sports @ Lodge, Talbot St, 7.30pm- $5

Saturday:
- Solar Viewing @ Village Green, Talbot St, 10am-2pm; Free
- Winterlights Market 4.30-8.30 @ Kennedy Park, beyond the footbridge.
Beautiful outdoor market with huge selection of hot food, entertainment, activities, braziers, fire show and snow! Free
- Live Music @ Village Inn, Talbot St, 9pm-1am Free
Sunday:
- Poems By Candlelight 7pm @ the Geraldine Academy of Performance & Arts, Talbot St – Gold Coin

While in Geraldine, also visit our four galleries, the iconic cinema, the intriguing Medieval Mosaic and its puzzling alphanumeric challenges, our many boutique shops, local produce like Talbot Forest Cheese, Clearwater Yoghurt, Barker's Jam, etc and top class cafes. Or take a stroll along the river through the Rhododendron Dell, get lost in our native Talbot Forest, ride the mountain bike trail or have an adrenalin rush while canyoning or rafting.
