‘Work and its Transformation’
In this lecture, the distinguished historian Professor Erik Olssen will explore the changing nature of work in our city, tracing the broad impact of these changes on society and politics. Drawing on his extensive research on the history of Dunedin and Otago, Erik will cast light on the impact of new technologies, the links between work, class and equality (and inequality), and the connections between work and gender.
