A paleo, or ‘the caveman’ diet is based on the premise that to enjoy optimal nutrition and in turn, good health, we should go back to eating whole (unprocessed) foods such as vegetables, herbs, fruit, nuts, seeds, eggs, meat and seafood. ‘Modern’ agriculture by way of growing grains only came into being around 10,000 years ago and whilst that may sound like a long time, in terms of our evolution, its not even a blink of an eye and certainly not enough time for us to have adapted to highly processed diets (think rice and wheat, sugar, vegetable oils, chips etc etc etc).

This one-day course will provide you with everything you need to know about the principles and enjoyment of a varied and healthful Paleo diet including:

-The theory behind going Paleo
-Natural sweeteners that don’t involve sugar but still satisfy
-The difference between raw and pasteurised, organic/grass fed/feedlot meat, wild and farmed fish
-Seeds, nuts and healthy fats

We don’t focus on basic or even complex meat dishes because we’re pretty sure you already have that one nailed! Its about using the foods you might not know how to incorporate along with lots of different Paleo diet ideas, whether you are taking your Paleo knowledge to the next level or just a beginner!
