A documentary featuring 14 young people who, at the end of last year, stood up in front of their school mates and gave them a 'Heads Up' on Bullying, will premiere this month at EIT in Taradale.

Heads Up was an applied theatre project in its second year of running that used performance conventions to send a message to the whole community about Bullying. Championed by The Drama Workshop and supported by the Napier Family Centre, this Ministry for Social Development funded project for Te Punanga Haumaru, seeks to clarify the message that everyone in the community needs to take some responsibility for dealing with bullying appropriately.

2e Media, a charitable trust who took the Documentary project on, has been working diligently to bring the journey to life for family, friends and supporting organizations to highlight the effort the youth put into their project.

On the 21st of August the two 24 minute films will feature at a premiere event being held in Lecture theatre 1 at EIT.

Tickets are available for purchase at the door on the night or you can email to reserve tickets to be collected and paid for on the night.
