The Hawkins Youth Theatre Company and The Hawkins Silver Stage Company present How The Kiwibird Lost Its Wings.

How The Kiwibird Lost Its Wings is a colourful stage adaptation of the popular Maori myth, with an inter-generational cast from 7 to 67 years old!
This is the first co-production between the youngest members of Hawkins Youth Theatre Company and the senior citizen group, Hawkins Silver Stage Company.
Young Auckland playwright Daya Czepanski has created an array of quirky characters, from the very vain Pukeko to the humble yet clumsy Kiwi, and many more!
Step into a magical forest of Aotearoa, where legend brushes shoulders with history. Learn about a tale of humility, bravery and believing in oneself, suitable for all the family!
