Don’t know your iambic from your elbow? Post-modern from pantoum? Haiku from halitosis?

Fear not, Harry Ricketts, the author of four poetry collections including this year’s Half Dark, is here to help. Based on his work with Paula Green as they co-authored the primer, 99 Ways into New Zealand Poetry (2010), Ricketts offers a way to understand and enjoy poetry.

Co-editor of last year’s Essential New Zealand Poems, Ricketts has also written biographies of World War 1 poets, Strange Meetings, and of Rudyard Kipling, called "the most balanced yet written” by the Wall Street Journal.

*TECT Earlybird offer ends 7 October
Day Passes - Entry to all writers sessions on day purchased
