Such a grand celebration of the Art form of Theatre in 4 x different ethnic Indian languages is going to happen for the first time in the History of Theatre in Auckland.

Who we are:
Rangmanch NZ is a not for profit, voluntary and charitable Theatre group born in April 2008.

Since its inception in 2008 Rangmanch has remained totally committed to the cause of community theatre and till date the groups work with ethnic Indian theatre has been of pioneering status.
‘Rangmanch’ literally means “The Stage “or “The Dias” where an artist performs.
Our objective is to create such a platform from where we will be staging/ hosting events such as theatre , dance and music festivals and try to reach out to the migrant communities from the subcontinent – who now have made this beautiful country their home thus inspiring them to sustain their ethnic heritage and culture. It is great to live in a country like New Zealand, which believes in integration of cultures of multi ethnicity, and hence we also would like to propagate the flavour and the colour of Indian tradition and heritage within the wider sections of the Non- Indian Community in New Zealand.
.
Our Mission:
- To represent and promote the Indian culture and heritage amongst all sections of the migrant Indian communities in New Zealand through its theatre and other similar cultural presentation.
- Rangmanch will continuously strive to propagate strong social messages through its productions and create a platform for expressions of truly artistic pursuits.
- Rangmanch will also continue to work strongly with other community organisations for all work of charity and benevolence as would be possible within their means and resources.

Our Vision:
- Rangmanch hopes to be the flag bearer of quality Indian Theatre in Auckland and
have a motivated theatre community behind them extending beyond the barriers of language, cast and creed.
- Rangmanch envisages the world will definitely be a better place to live and that Rangmanch through its presentations and all round work in the community will be a genuine and selfless contributor in building a good, honest and spiritually elevated society with exceptional social values.

India is truly a country of many dimensions and every state has its own language, Culture and social practises.
As a country it stands united and takes pride in its rich cultural heritage, secular philosophy and non-violent ways.
India emboldens the true spirit of the expression - Unity in diversity.

All Art forms (be it Literary works, Music, Paintings, Sculpture, Theatre, Motion Picture) that has withstood the test of time has always spoken for the cause of Humanity and the spiritual divinity.
It has either given birth to revolutions - to fight against the evil and corruption or thrown us into depths of self-realisation and motivated us to work for the benevolence of mankind in general.
