Insight Dialogue is an interpersonal meditation practice that brings the mindfulness and tranquility of traditional silent meditation into our experience with others. Resting on the foundation of traditional Buddhist teachings, this practice offers a way to integrate our dedication to a path of wisdom and compassion with our relational lives. Every human encounter can be recognized as a potential contribution to further awakening. Relationship can turn from a place of great confusion to a source of support for insight and deep care. Discover how our capacity for inquiry deepens when we meditate together in dialogue. It is here we taste the energy and joy born at the intersection of interpersonal meditation and deep silence.

This Insight Dialogue public talk is offered by visiting US meditation teacher Gregory Kramer, the founder of Insight Dialogue meditation

Gregory Kramer has been teaching Insight Meditation since 1980. He developed the practice of Insight Dialogue and has been teaching it since 1995, offering retreats in North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia. He has studied with esteemed teachers, including Anagarika Dhammadina, Ven. Balangoda Ananda Maitreya Mahanayaka Thero, Achan Sobin Namto, and Ven. Punnaji Maha Thero. Gregory is the author of:

Cost: registration fee $20 / $10 unwaged + dana/donation* to the teachers

*In most Buddhist traditions the teachers are not paid to teach. Instead, the teachings are given on a ‘dana’ basis – dana being the Pali word for generosity or giving freely. At the end of the talk, participants are invited to reciprocate this generosity by offering dana to support the teacher.
