Japanese Children's Day Craft Afternoon

Back for its third year, the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme Alumni Association of Wellington will be hosting a free event for Children's Day at the Wellington Central Library in the Children's Space on Sunday 3 May

This will be a fun crafty afternoon where Kiwi participants who have spend time in Japan on the JET Programme as Assistant Language Teachers will be sharing Japanese culture with kiwi kids by assisting children can make their own 3D paper koinobori (carp streamer), try their hand at origami and also kendama (traditional children's cup-and-ball game). The more the merrier so if you have kids, nieces, nephews, friends that might be keen then please do bring them along.

Please come and join us for this free and fun event organised by Wellington JETAA and supported by the Japan Information and Cultural Centre (JICC).
