To celebrate the release of his debut album, Jordan is exhibiting a collection of new, recent and private works showcasing his interest in the difference between traditional and contemporary portraiture. Jordan derives inspiration for his painting and music from the same place, through social observations and personal relationships and says that for him the process of creating a song or a painting is much the same. He is excited to exhibit both art forms equally together for the first time.

Born in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Jordan is recognised as an artistic all-rounder. He recently held a solo exhibition entitled Homage at Puke Ariki Museum and has been involved in many projects and exhibitions along side some of New Zealand’s top Artists. Although more known for his visual arts, music has always been a passion. He began playing the guitar at age 10 and was writing lyrics and developing songs by age 11. In 2010 Jordan's first single 'Every Now and Then' was released on MTV (nz), Juice TV, and C4. 'Every Now And Then’ was self released, self funded and proved that Jordan is the perfect example of someone that knows what he wants and has the skill and drive to make it happen.

In the same year Jordan was awarded a $15,000 Artist Grant, and was forced to decide which of the two creative endeavours he would pursue over the other. He decided to put his music on hold while he focused on his painting career, but never gave up on his dream of one day releasing an album… In 2014 Jordan was approached by US Indie Label, Lazy Bones Recordings, who had came across demos recorded years earlier. What initially started out as a one track deal, quickly became a full length album which will be released on the 1st of August 2015.
