The next Landmark's Trust Talk will be held at Hastings War Memorial Library on Tuesday 10 November from 5:30pm. Speaker Ian Bambry will give a presentation on rural transport through the 1950s and 1960s.

Ian Bambry is one of the founding members of the Haumoana Volunteer Fire Brigade, which was established in 1946. He won a gold-star award for 25 years' service in 1971. One of the first volunteer brigades designated as co-responders, the brigade answers about 150 calls a year, about a third being medical emergencies. Ian will give a presentation on rural transport through the 1950s and 1960s.
