Actors wanted:

The Victoria University of Wellington French Society is staging the New Zealand play Le Sud, written by Dave Armstrong. We are searching for four (4) actors and two (2) actresses in their twenties or early thirties who are confident speakers of French and English. Acting experience is not necessary.

This is the director Brett Reid’s third play with the VUW French Society, with the two previous plays being Le Malentendu (in 2013) and The Marriage of Figaro (in 2014).

Auditions will be held at the St John's in the City conference center, behind the big wooden church on the corner of Willis and Dixon St, at 5:30pm on the 27th of January. Please CONFIRM your attendance by emailing Rehearsals will commence in the week of the 16th of February.

We are also looking for confident singers, guitarists, and a drummer to play cliché French and New Zealand music ten minutes before the show and during the 15-minute interval.

The performances will be held at Victoria University Memorial Theatre from Thursday the 14th – Sunday the 17th of May.
