Living Laudato Si'

Thu 19 Nov 2015, 7:00pm–8:30pm

Where: The Peace Place - Aiotanga, 22 Emily Place, CBD, Auckland

Restrictions: All Ages

Listed by: thepeaceplacenz

We would like to invite you to The Peace Place for a discussion on how we can live Laudato Si' - in our prayer life, our family life, our buying patterns and our parishes. The discussion will be lead by Patrick Doherty: economist, justice & peace activist, counselor, lecturer, husband, father, grandfather & community gardener.

For those of you who don't know Laudato Si' (which is translated into English as 'Our Common Home') was the title of the Encyclical Pope Francis released on the Catholic Church's approach to the care of the Earth earlier this year.

The Global Catholic Climate movement has declared Novermber 2015 a month of climate action in the lead up to the COP21 Paris climate talks which start on 30th November.
Venue: The Peace Place, 22 Emily Place, Auckland Central.

Date: Thursday 19th November.

Time: 7-8.30pm.

Cost: Koha.

To register call 09-377-5541 or email

We regret that our venue is not wheelchair accessible.
