Dare to Explore @ Central City Library

Join us this summer for a Minecraft game jam! This will be a great opportunity to interact with other like-minded crafters. Play in a laidback environment and swap tips and tricks. Please bring your own device and Minecraft registration. Appropriate for children, tweens, and teens.

Aimed at children aged 5 - 13 years and their families.

Bookings Essential
If you would like to bring a group to this event or would like to book a space for your child then please email Eli for more information eli.mcalpine@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz

Please note that children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Children aged 5 to 13 years can sign up for Auckland Libraries’ free summer reading adventure online and in library branches from Monday 8 December.

Dare to Explore is about reading every day (even if it’s just a little bit) and completing up to 60 fun new challenges – see how many you can do, or set your own challenges! You can collect six different explorer stickers as you go.

Come along to the library for special holiday events and activities, or to share what you’re reading, creating and discovering. When you finish at least four challenges, you’ll be invited to a celebration party at the end of the summer holidays!

Once you’ve signed up, pick up your ‘passport’ at your local library and you’re ready to go!
The countdown is on for Dare to Explore 2014... to infinity, and beyond!
