White Face Crew's Double Derelicts and The Modern Māori Quartet are heading to Wellington and are offering students a special Double Bill price for the Saturday matinee performances. This special price of $30 for BOTH shows is only valid for the performances on Saturday 20 June at 11am (Double Derelicts) and 1pm (The Modern Māori Quartet).

The Modern Māori Quartet
A fresh take on classic Maori show bands, the Modern Māori Quartet is a good-looking, suave and multi-talented Maori foursome who love crooning their spin on modern and classic numbers.
Hailing from different corners of Aotearoa, the Modern Māori Quartet come together for a night filled with waiata, humour and charm.
The show promises a trip down memory lane into Aotearoa's musical past and present including recent international hits, all with the unique MMQ twist and flavour.
So suit 'em up in their number ones, comb their hair, shine their shoes, hand them a guitar or two and they'll have you melting like golden syrup on a piece of fresh hot fried bread.

White Face Crew: Double Derelicts
Share the joy and tomfoolery of the award winning White Face Crew in a superbly choreographed show, involving couch leaping, shoe stealing, and good old fashioned clowning around. Created and performed by Justin Haiu, Tupua Tigafua and Jarod Rawiri, Double Derelicts is guaranteed to amuse and impress. Fun for the whole family.
Two colourful street characters go head to head in a city park. What begins as a hilarious duet turns into a charming tale when a gloomy businessman interrupts their daily routine. Will his dark clouds engulf them or can they turn his frown upside down? This is top notch physical theatre and dance from Auckland-based White Face Crew.

“The technical control and timing of three extraordinarily athletic performers is outstanding.” Theatreview
“The skilled cast seamlessly fuse clown and movement with a touch of poignant melodrama” Theatreview
