Welcome to the October session of Moonshine Method at The Wine Cellar.

The event is curated to be an immersive experience where you can intersect with the rich layers of Auckland underground culture relaxing in the dimlit, couch infested, cave under St Kevin's Arcade reclining with mulled wines and feijoa ciders losing yourself in the artistry of an exhibit and performances by emerging bands.

White Rabbit Black Monkey

The metamorphosis comes to life with WRBM giving voice to the catharsis effect of human experience. It's a bittersweet, sweetbitter, butterly sweetly bitter weaving and tapestry ... An expression of the sound and resonance of the human effort, WRBM has been a monthly regular at Wine Cellar for the last couple years pursuing a steady momentum for the last few years and sharing the stage with: Jeremy Redmore [ex-Midnight Youth], Paper Cranes, MC Tali, Alexander Wildwood, Evan Sinton, Kaitlin Riegel, The Basement Tapes, Kittens of the Internet, Ed Waaka, Late Night Poets, and many more ranging from folk to electronica.

Valere

Valere serenades your ears with the voice of royal songstress and crafted electronica arrangements luring you into her captivating headrush life expression ... Ethereal, serene and heartfelt, Valere’s sound brings a mix of soul and synth that moves audiences. Valere is Shana Llorando, a songwriter and producer based in Auckland, New Zealand, whose eclectic palate of warm new wave sounds, pop melodies and 90’s R&B beats are showcased in impeccable arrangements.Valere means ‘to be worth’.

Fables

The tender and richly delicate wax-a-lyric of Fables wembraces listeners, reaching in and nudging hearts into a warm bubble ... Off the back of their first release gig, Fables will be featuring an endearing set at Moonshine Method. HOME, has hit the online spaces with a haunting lilt that strums the heartstrings of anyone who has ever missed someone and yearned for them to be where they belong, a voicing of one of the most traditional ideas in folk music realized for the 21st Century.
