One Pacific Productions Ltd in association with the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, presents.
Nafanua - Women's Lament

"" An ode to women with ease the pain""

Nafanua - Women's lament is a multi disciplinary production bringing together Samoan weaponry, contemporary and celtic dance, film and oratory theatre, dedicated to the heroic women and their families standing through cancer.

The production celebrates three iconic women of pacific and british heritage: Nafanua - the Samoan Warrior Goddess of war; Her Royal Highness, Queen Salote Tupou 111 of Tonga and the Warrior Queen, Boudicca of the British Iceni Tribe, during 30 AD Britannia.

One Pacific Productions hopes to inspire women to draw from the spirit and strength of female leaders from our Gafa, Tipuna and Genealogy ,to persevere through their challenges in our present future.

All proceeds from the Saturday 28th November Matinee show, will go to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation and the opening night gala proceeds, on Friday 27th November, will go to first family recipients, of the One Pacific Cancer Benefit."
