Tips on booking a great covers band.
You would think that it was fairly easy to book the right band for your conference or event in a little ole town like Napier, or Hastings, Or Hawkes Bay in general right?
Well it turns out that booking the right band for your upcoming event can be a little tricky. There are but a select few high end bands in Hawke’s Bay really offering great value.
Some of the better ones include Naked Gun, Pulse Band, The Lost 45’s or Groove Foundation. So when we say, great value do we mean cheap?

Of course not, if you want cheap, go elsewhere, but if it’s a band with great equipment, a great song list everyone can dance to, a good light show and good mix, indeed all of the above, then these few bands will fit the bill nicely and you can be assured of a fantastic night. Dont get us wrong, there are other choices out there for your event, but if you’re gonna put on a big night, why pull in an act that doesn’t really cover all the very essential basics?

So ask a few good questions like: What equipment do you use? Do you have a light show? Can I see a song list? Do you have a demo? I would be less concerned about how many members make up the band theses days, as a good act is like a good steak, as long as it leaves a great taste in your mouth, who cares how many ingredients were used?

Dont for get if you’re looking for something extra special, then mix up our gourmet act “The Hicksville Swamp Stompers” with "The Lost 45’s" and never stop thinking about the fun night you had!
