by Larisse Hall
'Evocative of societies cultural rhythms, my work abstracts the language of relationship; embodying us gregariously as a society while exploring the more intimate states of innocent child friendship and personal relationship.' Manipulating spatial elements, Larisse Hall abstracts the conversation of our day to day lives, constantly seeking to harmonize the yin and yang of life. Both a painter and a sculptor, her individually shaped and stretched forms search out the existence and precariousness of nonbalance to explore the essence and complexities of harmony and balance within relationship. 'Reassurance' plays homage to those moments in life when we have received or alternatively given 'reassurance' to those in need. It acknowledges this act of compassion and more importantly celebrates those who for the most part we may take for granted.

All welcome Sunday 13th September 2pm - 4pm at The Suter Café to meet Larisse and casually discuss her work.
