It was an amazing night and this has lead to us now being asked to perform support for Everclear on their upcoming UK tour in October“ said Paul. In addition a US based radio plugging company MRP are interested in working with the guys as Stephen the CEO said “these guys have more hooks than a fishing ship, with great written songs, catchy melodies and sing a long choruses these guy are going places.”

The bands latest single "No Expectations" is about letting go of the things we can't control. "The song is kind of about not putting your emotional investment in things you can't control and about being content with the situation we're in. I mean, this is really happening people, you're actually alive! Think that, you know" says singer/guitarist Paul Gauvin.

Like the rest of New Reptiles' unreleased record, it's produced by Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers) and recorded in the legendary York St Studios. "No Expectations" currently receiving airplay on Radio Hauraki, among other NZ radio.
