There Once was an Island: Te Henua e Nnoho (2010) a highly acclaimed film about the critical issue of climate change in the Pacific will be introduced by the producer Lyn Collie.

The film tells the story of the devastating impact on the closely related population of Takuu, a Polynesian island in the Melanesian Pacific. The film follows the lives of three people in the community who face life changing decisions.

Lyn Collie will speak about the importance and the challenges of making this film over several years, and the inspirations and motivations of her work.
