New Zealand’s community of professional and indie game developers will again come together at an action-packed NZGDC to share, learn and inspire.

The conference is the New Zealand game development industry’s biggest event of the year and features more than 20 hours of hand-picked sessions across 4 different topic streams, international speakers, and over 300 of your fellow game developers.

Due to feedback and popularity at last years NZGDC, this year we are featuring more topic streams than ever before. So you can personalise the conference by attending the streams most suited to your interests.

NZGDC is for anyone who works in games; from professional and indie game developers, to people who aspire to be in the industry.

There are special prices for NZGDA members and membership is free (
Tickets will remain available until September 8.
Special prices for early bird tickets end on August 20.
A limited number of discounted tickets will also be available for current students. A current, valid, student ID from your school or university will be required to be shown at the registration desk on the day.

There will also be workshops on the day before, Thursday September 10th. Tickets for these will be sold separately as they become available.
