For beginners, indies & students. This workshop is designed for new or beginner Unity users. No knowledge of Unity is required. Basic computer skills will be useful.

Description
Unity is a cross-platform game engine used to develop video games for PC, consoles, mobile devices and the web. In this introductory workshop we will be looking at some basic Unity concepts and taking a tour of the interface. Finally we'll develop and deploy a Unity application together.

Presenter
Rus Scammell, Unity Product Evangelist, has been making games for more than 10 years. He owns Craft Colony, a game production & consulting company. Rus is a games technology generalist and takes a holistic approach to game development. He has been developing in Unity since 2009. Previously, he was Technical Art Director at Big Bad Robots and Senior 3D Artist at GameBrains. He lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
