Five days - 12 games per day - six fields in action

The New Zealand Rugby League National Secondary Schools tournament has been run at Bruce Pulman Park, Papakura since 2011. It features 24 schools from around NZ who come together to play over five days, with three days of pool play, semi-finals on Thursday and finals on Friday.

With every team playing one game every day it tests the depth of all those who participate in this award winning tournament, with teams divided into two grades - Premiership and Developing. There are twelve games played every day across six fields.

As part of the NZRL's 'More than just a game' philosophy, players also take part in off-field activities including a leadership programme, visiting local primary and intermediate schools and attending a formal awards evening at Mt Smart Stadium.

The tournament is open to the public (free of charge), and all are welcome to come along and watch the future of the game in action.

As well as on field action there will be a number of activities taking place in the large carpark alongside the grounds.
