The SCAPE Public Art Education Programme aims to give young people a positive opportunity to reconnect with the city through the SCAPE 8 New Intimacies artworks, which add vibrancy and an exciting element to the changing city. Free art-making activities linked to the New Zealand Curriculum are available
for school and community groups to book. Our classroom will be an area for practical art-making activities which support learning about the SCAPE 8 New Intimacies artworks.

There are several art-making activities on offer for groups to choose from including:
1. Producing cyanotype prints, a photographic print process using light-sensitive paper exposed with sunlight.

2. Exploring the work of Judy Millar, a five-minute walk from SCAPE 8 Art Central, then taking part in a pop-up book activity, in response to her work.

3. Participating on site at Antony Gormley’s work.

4. Groups can explore all of the artworks via a self-directed or guided tour of the Public Art Walkway.
