With over 1400 pupils designing garments annually we are expecting another massively creative year for Schools' Trash to Fashion!

Hundreds of fashion and wearable art garments will be unveiled to the public and the judges for the first time at the judges selection events. If you were a judge which garments would you select for the finals? Come along and get a sneak peak at garments made by students from the east, south and central schools.

This is a great chance to be inspired by young and creative Kiwis, and support all the hard work they have done designing and constructing a garment made from items normally deemed as trash.

Free audience entry, no tickets required but seating limited.

Specific Show Times
6pm: costume, fantasy and wearable art garments made by primary-aged designers.
7.30pm: street wear inspired by sci-fi movies and sculptural pieces inspired by film noir made by intermediate and secondary aged designers.
9pm: occasion wear inspired by stage musicals and trashion inspired by animation made by intermediate and secondary aged designers.

Each show will run for approx 45-60 minutes.

Presented by Auckland Council and Keep Waitakere Beautiful Trust with special thanks to Warwick Stationery.
