- Peace of mind — you are not alone tackling the Science Curriculum, especially the Nature of Science strand.
- Lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
- Opportunities to share your experiences and to create new resources.
- On-going access to Academy staff and alumni events.
- Proven quality gains in teaching practice.

Selection criteria

- Be primary and/or intermediate school teachers from registered New Zealand schools
- Be endorsed by your school Principal

Now with a contract from the Ministry of Education, along with the continued investment of NZOG and NZASE, we are able to offer “zero course fees” and schedule significantly more Academies in 2015 and 2016.
[Individual schools will still need to pay teacher release time (if any), accommodation, travel and meals].
