Please Note: There seems to have been some confusion as to the purpose of the event, so just clarifying. Sisters in arms is intended for those who identify as women some or all of the time, and non-binary/fluid/queer gender identities. There are some dudes attending, because they are being awesome and helping to run the event so that there are enough experienced players and DMs to go around. Possibly also for cupcakes. If you don't identify as female or non binary/genderqueer, and aren't one of the official helper types, thanks for your interest, and Adventurers league on Wednesday nights at the Badcave would love to have you.

The world needs saving (or destroying, depending on your alignment), and the denizens of the Badcave are calling on our Sisters in Arms to defend (or pillage) the realm.

- New to Dnd, role playing or general geekery?
- Not new but want to pick up those fickle polyhedrals once more?
- Curious about what those weirdos sitting around a table and rolling dice are up to?
- Just want cupcakes and hot chocolate?

This is a night for the girls (and a few boys prepared to give drag a go). The focus is on beginners but gamers of all experience levels are welcome. We'll show you the ropes, feed you some baked goods, and go on a noble quest to save the realm, investigate a haunting, or terrorize a small town.

Confirmation of attendance would be much appreciated so we can make sure there's enough games, sugary goodness and experienced players to go around.

Don't have dice? Don't worry! The shop has sets that can be borrowed for the evening.

Trans and non binary identities are most welcome, it's Sisters in arms, not Cisters ^_^.

Ideal for adults but teens are also welcome. We're looking at organising a kids and early teens event in the future so if you're keen on that definitely get in touch.

If you've got a child in tow and can't find a sitter, you're welcome to bring them along, there's space downstairs to leave empty prams. Just be aware that the store has pet rats so little fingers will need to be supervised.

The store is upstairs, so if this presents a mobility issue for you please feel free to get in touch ahead of time and we'll try to organise a way of making it accessible for you.
