Details: Our 98th Civic Service will include two minutes' silence, parade past the newly built Field of Remembrance (over 1,100 white crosses have been built which represent every man and woman from South Canterbury who perished in WWI), flyovers by SC Aero Club and Russell Brodie with his WWI era tiger moth, speeches from NZDF Land Component Commander Brigadier Peter Kelly and Runner Up in the ANZ RSA Cyril Bassett VC Speech Competition Jesse Drake, hymns, last post, reveille, wreath and poppy laying.
