An exciting premiere concert from Wellington’s foremost young pianist, featuring music from the classical giants Bach, Beethoven, and Chopin, a set of emotive pieces by Carl Nielsen, and an award winning performance of Madeleine Dring’s Blue Air.

Attendance is free, but we encourage you to donate as little as a gold coin to Unicef. These funds go towards families struggling to survive in the harsh climate of developing countries.

Other pianists may have an equally advanced technical aptitude, but Stella’s playing is uniquely augmented with a rare emotional brilliance that is far beyond her years. Judge Stuart Douglas notes that she plays with “great passion and sensitivity, total attention to detail.”

Come and join a budding young pianist for an afternoon of beautiful, and at times chilling, classical music.

Bach - Prelude and Fugue in D minor, Book 2
Beethoven - 5th Piano Sonata, Op. 10
Chopin - Nocturne Op. 37, No. 2
Nielsen - 5 Klaverstykker, Op. 3
Dring - Blue Air
