Your little Retreat on Sunday morning, 10am - 12pm
2 hours of Mindfulness Meditation – feel the calmness and peace, give yourself some me time and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of a group meditation.
Once per month - every second Sunday.

This Sunday: Energize your Chakra 5 & 6 plus Alignment of all 7 Energy Centers

This is a group for absolute beginners as well as for experienced meditators.
Only 8 seats available.
Fee: $45 or 3 boxes on your Concession Card

What is Mindfulness?
Webster defines mindfulness as “the practice of maintaining a nonjudgmental state of heightened or complete awareness of one's thoughts, emotions, or experiences on a moment-to-moment basis.” The key words here are non-judgmental, awareness and moment-to-moment as in NOW. Being in the now without judgement and being aware of every moment, just feeling what is … now … nothing from the past … nothing from the future … now … so that all the chatter about yesterday and tomorrow will disappear. It is just about you, sitting in your meditation posture and your breath … not about somebody else … just about you … right now … breathing … so, again all the chatter about everything else will disappear … find out what really is important … now …. learn how to calm your body and mind. Treat yourself with serenity and stillness, because you deserve it.

What are the benefits of Mindfulness Meditation?
Quite a few studies of Mindfulness Meditation found a wide range of benefits through Meditation, and Mindfulness Meditation especially. They also found a correlation between stress reduction and the number of days meditated per week.
Some of many possible health benefits: Increased Immunity, Emotional Balance, Lower Blood pressure , Relief from Stress and Anxiety, Restful Sleep, Happiness (Alterations in Brain and Immune Function produced by Mindfulness Meditation, Richard J. Davidson et al 2003)
