Discover the extraordinary annual journey of the red knot sandpiper, from its Siberian tundra breeding ground to its winter home in New Zealand.

Red knots can fly 10,000 kilometres non-stop – as far as the better-known bar-tailed godwit. Arctic shorebird expert Dr Pavel Tomkovich discusses his many years of studying and tracking these remarkable birds.
