Talking about Tangata Whenua: An Illustrated History
With Atholl Anderson and Aroha Harris

Atholl Anderson and Aroha Harris talk about new perspectives on Māori history, drawing on their work for Tangata Whenua: An Illustrated History.
‘One of the most significant books on the Māori world ever written’, in the words of Sir Tipene O’Regan, this first one-volume history of Māori presents a sweeping narrative from ancient origins in South China to the present day.

This free public talk, held in association with Bridget Williams Books, Auckland War Memorial Museum and Bruce McKenzie Booksellers, offers an early glimpse into an exceptional new history that is important to all New Zealanders.
