Taniwha Daffodils are back for 2015 - Come to pick, walk, ponder or picnic!

We will be open from Friday 28th August - Sunday 27th September (season dependent), open 7 days a week, all daylight hours.

Taniwha Daffodils can be seen alongside State highway 2, ten minutes from Waipukurau with drifts of daffodils marking the roadside. Enjoy the display of many hundreds of daffodil varieties, planted in a 20 acre park-like setting, amongst mature trees and ponds.

Entry is free and Daffodils are available for picking with proceeds going to Central Hawke's Bay Plunket. Pick 30 stems for $5 or chose a pre-picked bunch for $7.50 - $10.00 when available. Bunches are wrapped in cellophane with a ribbon. Cash is preferred by eftpos is available (signal dependent). Buckets are provided for picking.
(Please refrain from picking tight buds - these will be charged at $1.00 a stem.)

There is delicious takeaway barista coffee and tea can be purchased from the "coffee shed," on site. The Coffee She is open weekdays between 9.30am - 12.00pm with afternoon opening possible for group bookings and open 9.30am - 3.30pm weekends.

Pack a warm jacket and waterproof shoes - just in case, it is spring!

This year also see exhibiting sculptures from Darryl Grant and Glen Colechin.
