Simon and Olive from the Taste Nature kitchen are giving a workshop on the age old tradition of fermentation. It is a wonderfully interesting world and in this 2-hour workshop you will get hands-on experience making your own sauerkraut and kimchi (you will get to take some home with you too!). The aim of the workshop is to pass on our delicious recipes, and set you up so you can continue fermenting your own foods at home!

"Walk into any gourmet emporium and look around. What you will see are products of fermentation. Cheeses are fermented. Breads are fermented. Cured meats are fermented. Coffee, chocolate, vanilla, vinegar, sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles, wine, beer, olives—all fermented. Fermentation creates strong flavours and once you learn to appreciate their complexity, ferments can fill you with desire and keep you coming back for more." - Sandor Katz
