The Friend Series comprises of two exclusive spring events. This is a collaboration amougst friends & three of the regions most talented chefs put their heads together to bring you inspired cuisine from their travels and experiences. Part I - Dinner with Terry Lowe

Shake of the winter blues, step into spring with Terry Lowe. Terry is itching to get back into the kitchen, and Francky has welcomed him with open arms. These two have put their heads together and created a comeback like no other. To start the night on the right note, a glass of bubbles on arrival and canapes to entice the taste buds for what's to follow. The menu comprises of three courses.

Terry Lowe is a renowned local chef, well known for his several years spent as Head chef of BlackBarn. He feels inspired to be working in a region where there is an abundance of fresh produce and an amazing climate. As a chef he feels that you never stop learning and even if you cook all your life you only scratch the surface. For this reason he loves cooking as "every days a new day"

Part II - Lunch with Malcolm Redmond

Its time welcome spring, after a mild winter. We have booked in a sunny day, so you can enjoy sitting in the courtyard while you wine and dine your way through the afternoon. Relax while Malcolm and Francky cook to their hearts content and bring you a delicious 3 Course lunch with nibbles to start.

Malcom's passion for cooking goes back to his childhood days on the home farm near Methven. His mother was his inspiration for joining the Royal New Zealand Air Force to train as a chef. After 20 years of culinary adventures in the Air Force, Malcolm spent time at the prestigious Huka Lodge in Taupo, in The George Hotel Christchurch & Te Awa Farm & Church Road wineries. Malcolm opened his own lodge in December 2006, Breckenridge Lodge is private luxury accommodation nestled in the picturesque valley of Omarunui.
